Hello and Welcome to Glamour Photography

Glamour Photography is a home-based studio, located in Thornlie.

My passion for photography comes from my memories with my father where he would take our photos, then take the negatives to the laboratory to get developed. After waiting days for them to be developed and printed our excitement grew each day. As a family we would sit together and go through the photo’s once developed.

I have been lucky to use my passion for photography, in my work and as a hobby for the last 15 years.

I have been in the childcare industry for over 20 years. Looking after and teaching children has been my passion. For the last 7 years I have operated my own Family Day care business, where I had the privilege of supporting families in the early years of their children's lives.

Part of Family Day Care is taking photos/videos of the children’s daily activities, Sometimes I was very privileged to capture their first steps or words and sending these images/videos to their parents.

When I closed my Family Day Care Business, I decided to take my hobby and passion for photography to the next level.

For a Valentines present, my husband handed me the keys to his shed/man cave so I could have a professional home studio. We spent the next year working together to create my dream.

For me, there is something beautiful about capturing a person’s uniqueness in a photograph and creating a forever memory.
